Tele2 IoT is now looking for a Internet-of-Things Service Manager

The Service Management team is part of the Operations organization and plays a very important role for our key accounts. We’ve got a few Technical Service Managers in the team already, and this role is slightly less technical and slightly more commercial.
So what would you be doing as a Service Manager at Tele2 IoT?

First of all, the climate is quite much a start-up environment, so we need you to be an organized person with the flexibility to reorganize whenever it’s needed. You will work in a proactive way to serve our Customers with the best Service Management experience in the world. We don’t want to do anything moderate or just ‘good enough’ – we want to be the very best in class.

You will have full responsibility and accountability for your Customers, whom you will build, develop and maintain a fantastic relationships with. It would be phenomenal if you have already done so in the past. You will be supported by the Key Account Team that also consists of a Key Account Manager and a Solution Consultant.

As a Service Manager for Tele2 IoT you would be supported on the heaviest technical stuff, that’s what we’re using our Technical Service Managers to – no worries if you’re not deep into all the telecom technologies there is. However, as this is a key position within a tech-savvy company, some kind of telecom/technical experience is an advantage. The IoT Service Manager plays a very important part to be the initiator for your customer’s requests and projects, but also be able to walk the distance and, the extra mile if needed. 

In this role you will be responsible for establishing and executing operational meetings, invoice reviews and quarterly business reviews. Expect some travels from time to time to meet your customers on their premises. As the governance goes on, you’ll be receiving a lot of requests from your customers. You will be the one driving these customer requests within the organization as the Customer advocate.

As goes for the attitude, we expect you have a clear focus to be action-oriented and quality driven.

Your qualifications

  • Excellent ability to provide hands-on, on-site technical support to skilled Customers and partners 
  • Thrives from communicating with both internal and external (Customers, suppliers) stakeholders
  • Never backs off from a challenge – you love to solve technical problems!
  • Being a fast telecom student that soon will be able to translate telecom and technology to something understandable to your Customers
  • Enjoy both day-to-day operations and long-term projects
  • Likes a pro-active approach (even though a reactive work methodology may occur)
  • Strong team player with excellent social skills
  • Well-structured and target oriented
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English

Your responsibilities

  • Establishing, preparing for, and execution of governance structure with Customers (operational meetings, invoice reviews and quarterly business reviews)
  • Constantly analyzing and oversees your Customers and work to optimize every piece of the Customers’ solution
  • Approaching the Customer proactively in both technical and commercial matters
  • Implementation- and change coordination with a high sense of structure
  • Coordination of customized roaming restrictions
  • Coordination of customized price zones
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to the Customer
  • Assist in pitching and demoing new products and services
